Home Inspection Services & More

Before you sell your existing home or buy a new home, investment property, or business, it is vital that the property is inspected by an experienced, trusted, and certified professional inspector. An inspection will tell you if there are any issues before the sale is complete, allowing you to make an informed decision. I am here to help with that. My services are designed for all of the following:

  • Residential Homes
  • Small Multi-Family Dwellings (Duplexes, Quadplexes, etc.)
  • New Construction (inspection completed at three phases: foundation, pre-drywall, and finished)
  • Small & Medium Commercial Buildings (does not include compliance regarding American Disabilities Act or Local Fire Marshal regulations)

Hiring With Confidence

In the state of Georgia, the rules and regulations surrounding home inspectors are very minimal. The state of Georgia does not require any training, experience or testing. In fact, anyone reading this can be an inspector today. The word "certified" is applied too liberally. In fact, any inspector can print a certificate on their home printer and call themselves certified.

When you choose If Walls Could Talk Home Inspection, Inc., you are choosing a home inspector with more than 35 years of experience in the construction and inspection industries. I am also certified with the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI), which required that I complete a variety of test/exams, complete a minimum of 250 fee paid inspections. It also required that I have my reports verified for compliance with the ASHI Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics. Every year, I am required to complete a minimum of 20 hours of continuing education units (CEU's) and have to confirm that I have not been convicted of any felonies on my record. For more information about what standards the ASHI follows, I encourage you to visit their web complete site.
